Hi, I’m Susan Hodson, your host and healer for this transformative retreat. As a Reiki Master, Yoga teacher, and Intuitive, I’ve been immersed in the world of energy healing since I was a little girl, and it has become my life’s passion to help others reconnect with their inner selves. This weekend, I’ll guide you through a journey of self-love, using a blend of energy healing, mindfulness, and restorative practices to help you release emotional blockages and embrace your true self. By the end of the retreat, you’ll feel deeply nourished, empowered, and filled with a renewed sense of peace and love for yourself. It’s a time to recharge and return to your daily life with a full heart and a lightened spirit.

On this Retreat, you can expect a nurturing and rejuvenating experience designed to help you reconnect with yourself on a deeper level. Throughout the weekend, you'll be guided through heart-opening yoga, mindfulness practices, and transformative workshops, all focused on cultivating self-love, compassion, and inner peace.
You’ll also have the opportunity to indulge in an afternoon of complete relaxation at Vetta Spa, where hydrotherapy pools and saunas will melt away stress, leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized. In addition to healing practices, you’ll enjoy nourishing meals that support both your body and spirit, fostering a sense of well-being from the inside out.
Surrounded by the peaceful winter landscape of Horseshoe Valley, you'll have plenty of time for quiet reflection, personal growth, and nature walks, allowing you to step away from the demands of everyday life. Expect a safe and supportive environment where you can explore self-care, release emotional blockages, and leave feeling empowered, loved, and deeply restored.

Day 1: Arrival and Grounding In

Settle into your accommodations, take in the natural beauty around you, and prepare for a weekend of healing.
4:30 PM - 6:00 PM – Opening Circle & Intention Setting
Join a guided meditation to ground yourself and connect with the group. Set intentions for self-love and healing for the weekend.
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM – Nourishing Dinner
Enjoy a wholesome, locally-sourced dinner focused on mindful eating.
8:30 PM - 9:30 PM – Self-Love Ritual & Journaling
Write down your personal self-love intentions, and participate in a gentle self-care ritual to prepare for deep rest.

Day Two: Saturday-Deep Healing & Spa Relaxation

A heart-opening yoga session followed by a meditation focused on self-compassion.
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM – Nourishing Breakfast
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM – Self-Love Workshop
Participate in a workshop to explore the practice of self-love through mindfulness, journaling, and energy healing techniques.
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM – Lunch Break
A light, nourishing meal before the afternoon spa visit.
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM – Vetta Spa Experience
Enjoy an afternoon of relaxation at Vetta Spa, including hydrotherapy pools, saunas, and steam rooms. Embrace the healing power of water and take time for deep self-reflection.
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM – Dinner
Experience a delicious Finnish-inspired meal while surrounded by nature at the beautiful KOIVU Resturant
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM – Evening Restorative Yoga & Sound Healing
A gentle restorative yoga session, followed by a sound bath to release any remaining tension and open the heart for deeper self-love.

7:30 AM - 8:30 AM – Guided Nature Walk & Meditation
A peaceful morning walk to connect with nature and reflect on your self-love journey.

10:00 AM - 11:30 AM – Integrative Healing Session & Closing Circle
A final healing session focusing on integrating the lessons learned over the weekend, followed by a closing meditation and affirmation circle.
